Refurbished bikes and scooters at refurbed are previously ridden models that experts have checked, cleaned and repaired where needed before selling them with a min. 12-month warranty. Whether you want a road bike, a trail machine, an e-bike or a city scooter, you can find it here at up to 40% less than new.
Road bikes favour speed on tarmac, gravel bikes handle mixed surfaces, mountain bikes are made for trails, and scooters are compact for short city hops. Matching the type to your usual route comes first.
Frame size matters more than almost anything else for comfort. Manufacturer size charts relate frame size to rider height, and the product page lists the size of each bike.
E-bikes add motor assistance for hills and longer distances, but are heavier. Acoustic bikes are lighter and simpler. Several listings, such as the Haibike AllMtn CF 9, Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 and Riese & Müller Supercharger 2, are electric.
Gears, brakes and wheels shape how a bike rides. Electronic shifting, indicated by Di2 in some names, offers precise changes, while simpler setups can be easier to maintain.
Each listing describes the condition of the bike, and every item is checked by experts and comes with the min. 12-month warranty.
The range includes names such as Ridley, Trek, Specialized, Canyon, Pinarello and KTM. Examples include the Trek Madone SLR 9, the Canyon Torque:ON CF Roczen, the Specialized Turbo Kenevo Comp and the Pinarello Grevil F. Availability changes from week to week.
A refurbished bike costs up to 40% less than a new one and extends the life of a product that already exists, so fewer new frames and components are needed. That makes it more sustainable vs new.
A used bike from a private seller is often sold as seen, with no warranty and no professional check of brakes, gears or frame. Refurbished bikes are inspected by experts, described with their condition and covered by a min. 12-month warranty.
